MANGABROS

...are "ballardian psycho bluesmen" hailing from northern England. Elements of electronica and post-rock bruise hips on the dance floor with broken ballads, orchestral and avant-garde/noise. No rules. From an vast pool of musicians and artists, the dice chooses our destiny.

Described as 'the bones of Burroughs and Rhinehart, ground up and snorted...". These are 'songs' but not as we know 'em.

“Brave and uncompromising”

    - Bill Nelson

“...really good shit that brings back fond memories of places I’ve never been, which is something interesting music always

should do...”
 - Jim Fairchild (Grandaddy, Modest Mouse)

"Pop structurings scorched with molotov cocktails."

 - scarecrowmusings

“There is nothing like them as a sheer sonic force of nature on the underground scene and if you haven’t already checked the Mangabros out I urge you to do so – I guarantee you won’t regret it.”

  - James Sheer Fearly (Doncopolitan)

"...deliciously deranged..."
   -  Channel 4

"FANTASTIC!!!"
  - Casper Clausen (Efterklang)

"Ballardian psycho blues..."

" Craig M is the Hendrix of the voice..."

 - OutPost e-Zine

"Vividly beautiful, masterfully textured, exquisiteiy unique and utterly hypnotic...classic and timeless, like a long lost memory returning! Beautifully

stunning! Bravo! I can’t recommend Deepfleshred highly enough. And as quickly as it came, it was once again abruptly still. Ingenius,

as my first thought was, I must listen again...and I most certainly will!”

   -  Rick McClure (Dewbury Jam Radio, Texas)

“Mangabros… very VERY eclectic and intriguing…NUTTY"

   - Syn City

“I’ve never known what to expect from Mangabros. In the past, I’ve liked some of their stuff really loads and others a bit less so. BUT THIS IS SOMETHING ELSE. That (‘Last Ghost Story’) was absolutely brilliant and the whole of ‘Deepfleshred' is up to that standard. Really pulled out the the stops. Wicked, a brilliant, brilliant album…"
